Notification of Changes to Two-Factor Authentication
Thank you for using CAPCOM ID.
This notice is to inform you that we will no longer support the "Email" two-factor authentication method (authentication using a code sent to an email address) previously offered under "Try another method" as an alternative to entering a one-time code.
- Please note that you can still use a recovery code to perform the authentication.
Effective Date:
March 31, 2021 (Wed)
Reason for Change:
To improve security for user accounts.
Alternative Recovery Methods:
If you are unable to use an authenticator app or have other reasons that prevent you from entering a one-time code for two-factor authentication, you will still be able to select "Try another method" > "Recovery code" to perform the authentication.
If you cannot authenticate with your recovery code, have lost your recovery code, or have some other issue, please send an inquiry to our support team.

[For customers using MSN or Hotmail email addresses] Difficulty receiving emails from CAPCOM ID.
Thank you for using CAPCOM ID.
Currently, we are experiencing an issue where some mails from CAPCOM ID to certain domains are delayed or not reaching the recipients.
Date/Time of Issue:
Thursday, October 1, 2020, 18:30 onward
Content of the Issue:
Mails from CAPCOM ID sent to MSN and Hotmail domains may be delayed or not arrive altogether.
Response to Issue:
We are currently investigating this issue.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused to our customers with this issue.
After investigating, we are unable to resolve this issue.
